New Life Motto

Post grad life has given me a lot of time to think about life and what I aspire my life to be like. What I want from the future. One big update: I accepted a job! I'm going to start working in August at EF in their Go Ahead Tours department as a Travel Support Specialist! I'm so excited for this opportunity! But with this time in between graduating and starting my new job in August, I've been thinking and I have a new life motto: it's never too late.

It's never too late to follow your dreams. Change your direction. Take a chance. With accepting my new job came a lot of anxiety about if I am going to like it or not. I had a lot of trouble initially figuring out what I want to do and if this role is right for me, but the nice thing is that I'm not stuck in any position and if I don't like it, I can just leave! I can always change my path and never do I want to feel stuck.

It's never too late to take up a new hobby and try something different. That thing you've always want to do, whether it be taking a painting class or going scuba diving? DO IT! I've always wanted to run a half marathon. So why not start getting in running shape and make running my new hobby now?! Too many people say they'll do it eventually, whether it be next week or next month or next year. But why not now?

It's never too late to start celebrating and make new traditions. For years, my birthday, since it's on Christmas, hasn't been too eventful for me. But life is so short, so why not make every momentous occasion a great one? I want to start birthday traditions and make every upcoming birthday more memorable and separate from Christmas celebrations. Just because I haven't celebrated much in past recent years doesn't mean I can't start!

It's never too late. So stop waiting. Stop making excuses. Just because you didn't do it in the past doesn't mean you can't make it your future.
